I'm Lesley and I'm a professional freelance translator, transcriber and subtitler working from French and Spanish into English.
As a commercial translator, transcriber and subtitler, I specialise in international sports events, transcreation, marketing and life sciences. I write flawless and engaging translations that communicate your French and Spanish content to the English-speaking world.
As a literary translator, I translate contemporary French and Spanish fiction written by authors from across the globe. I aim to represent the voices in their stories, bringing the English-speaking world to the social, political and cultural environments that they portray.

​​​​​​​I'm an Associate Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), which means I've been officially recognised as a professional within my field, and I also have an MA in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds, as well as a BAHons in French and Spanish Studies from Lancaster University.
